Nest Wills is an independent Will writing and estate planning service built around a simple idea: important decisions deserve personal attention, clear explanations and the time to get things right.

I'm James Samson, and I work directly with individuals, couples and families to help them put their affairs in order and provide for the people who matter most.

A Different Background, a Personal Approach

Before establishing Nest Wills, I spent almost 30 years working in international business, principally in the wine industry. I have a degree in French and an MBA, and my career involved working closely with people, understanding their needs and finding practical solutions.

I eventually decided that I wanted to do something more personally meaningful, where the work I did could make a real difference to individuals and families.

Estate planning appealed to me because it's something almost everyone needs, yet so many people put it off. Often, that's not because they don't care, but because the process seems complicated, expensive or simply difficult to begin.

I established Nest Wills to offer a more approachable alternative: professional, carefully prepared estate planning, explained in plain English and delivered with genuine personal attention.

Who I Help

I work with individuals, couples and families who want the reassurance of knowing their affairs are properly organised.

Many of my clients are homeowners, parents or people looking to protect their partners and provide for the next generation. Others have more complicated family circumstances or need guidance on Trusts and inheritance arrangements.

Whatever your circumstances, I'll take the time to understand what matters to you and explain your options clearly.

Professional Standards

I'm a member of the Society of Will Writers and carry £2 million in professional indemnity insurance.

I believe good estate planning should be careful, thorough and understandable. I'll explain what I'm recommending, why it may be appropriate and what it will cost before any work begins.

Nest Wills is currently based in Oundle, serving clients across Stamford, Peterborough, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.

I offer face-to-face appointments locally, alongside the same personal, one-to-one service online throughout the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland.
